Bond Series
Purpose
The BOND Series is Rajiv Cera’s engineered range of body-strengthening binders - now introduced in two high-performance grades: Bond X and Bond 2X. Together, they reinforce and stabilise the tile body, delivering superior workability, smoother pressing, and a more controlled forming response.
How to Use
Recommended dosage: 0.015% to 0.02% of slurry, optimized for consistent plasticity, smooth pressing, and reliable green strength across GVT/PGVT bodies. In practical plant terms, this corresponds to 10– to 12 kg per 60 MT ball mill, 6 to 8 kg per 40 MT ball mill, or 5 to 6 kg per 30 MT ball mill, depending on mill capacity and body formulation. This dosage range provides effective binding and elasticity without over-tightening the body, helping reduce lamination, edge cracking, and green-stage defects while maintaining stable press performance and batch-to-batch consistency.
